I'm not around much in general anymore because of work, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for the novels! Awesome. Glad to hear you're well.
As for the interview - girl, you had me worried! I thought Milo was being really unkind about the show based upon your description, but I actually thought he was pretty diplomatic about it. I love the show too, but there's no denying things did change (personally, I think a lot of it had to do with keeping Sylar around for so long, but I don't think Milo was being specific at all), and he was quick to say it was a blessing to be involved in it. I'm relieved to hear he thinks everyone will be fine, and that they all got along etc. He sounded sad but unsurprised, which I guess was the same for all of us. And I see he mentioned on twitter he went to a punk gig in Canada after the announcement to clear his head, saying he "needed that". Aw. *pets the sad little geek-punk*
So, yeah, Milo came off well in the interview, I thought, but whoa, was I the only one who found Dino a bit off-putting? I could have done without him repeatedly referring to Dianna Agron as a "hot piece of ass," honestly. Milo was calling her "sweet" and "intelligent," but Dino's cock seemed to have run away with his brain. Shame, because he doesn't seem like a bad dude in general? I listened to their next podcast, and I liked what he had to say about not using racial slang, and how dangerous stereotyping can be. But ahahaha, if that's how he talks to women, no wonder he's single!!
