Okay, the dreams are starting to get out of hand... but last night's was one of the most vivid dreams I've had in years and it was just. so. cool. I have to post about it, and indeed I spent a long time this morning trying to recall as many details of the dream as possible, and determine whether or not what I had seen in my dream was true. Man, I was hoping it was. It's not. Boooooo!

I was asleep (in my dream) and someone (I don't know who; maybe my own mom) started shaking me to wake me up. I was grumpy at first, but then I noticed that the TV was on, and even though it was the middle of the night, there was a strange little viral Heroes teaser on that was about 1/2 hour in length.

The teaser was a non-chronologically structured history of all the nefarious things that Angela has done in the Petrelli mansion. There was a very important detail which I've now forgotten, unfortunately... damn... but essentially it offered actual proof that not only had Angela slept with every single male member of the Company Twelve (and Adam Monroe, for that matter) but that she had actually had a child by all of them, too, and given them all up for adoption. Arthur was present (in the present, as it were) only as a voice that was easily identifiable as Bruce Boxleitner's, though we never saw him, to my great frustration; but in the past he showed up a lot as portrayed by other actors. Cristine Rose was present as Angela throughout, and she looked the same as she does now even in the flashbacks, which is part of the reason why I honestly believed it. We also saw the very young Peter (about age 6 or 7) and the adolescent Nathan, acting like argumentative, obnoxious brothers.

One of the other neat things about what I saw was that it showed the grounds of the Petrelli mansion, the "back yard" as it were, and I remember that with such detail that I think I will integrate it into future fanfics. It doesn't violate what I've already written, so it's all quite good.

I wish I could remember more, but even more so, I wish my dream was real. It's kind of a cool idea - just unannounced showing a teaser for the show that doesn't actually show any footage that will end up in the season, but just highlighting a single character and the things they've done. In the dream, I taped it onto videotape even though I felt like it would end up on YouTube by morning, and I was so excited at the possibility of discussing it with my fellow fans. Alas, it's all just in my mind.

Anyway, back to my usual life, and back to finishing up Ritual (41) - I'm excited about how it's going to be received. It's substantially different from the other Rituals, and yet it's definitely a part of the larger story arc. I am quite proud of it. Look for it to drop sometime this week. And... FOR GOD'S SAKE GET THE FUCKING HIATUS OVER WITH ALREADY. I'M LOSING MY MIND.

*shakes head in dismay* For cripe's sake, I've got the dates listed on my own damn blog. I win at life. Except not.

In other irrelevancy news, last night I had what I believe is my very first Heroes dream... I dreamed in extremely vivid detail (to the degree that I had to spend the ten minutes between my alarm going off and my actually being able to get out of bed telling myself that it hadn't actually happened) that Peter was actually Linderman's son. Angela told Peter about it in more detail than Peter actually wanted (turning away, clapping his hands over his ears, yelling for her to shut up because he didn't want to know about it) and Nathan stood by, wearing that uncomfortable stinkface that he gets (see: Simone's visit to his campaign office, threatening to take the existence of Specials public... you know the look I mean). I blame this all on reading a report from the UK Heroes con that happened last week, and Cristine Rose saying that she speculates that Peter is Linderman's. Ha! She doesn't know! I shall disregard this as idle speculation on the level of enhanced abilities being caused by Midi-Chlorians - that was a long time ago, far far away, y'ken?

words just can't express my joy.

I love my show and I love my boys.

(I didn't actually mean to rhyme, but sometimes you just have to play it as it lays.) So happy to have it back, with new traumas, new weirdness, new hurt that needs to be comforted, and my goodness but has Milo been working on that chest. It wasn't necessary - he was stunning before - but it's appreciated. Obviously he's had a sandwich or two since last summer. And Angela is heading into Cruella deVil territory - she's going to show up next week with half her hair white, wearing ropes of emeralds and a floor-length dalmatian coat. And I am all for it. Loves me some evil bitches.

Pasbeard Pasbeard Pasbeard. Can you believe that some bloggers are accusing the Pasbeard of being FAKE? After Adrian spent all that time on it? The NERVE of some people. It does look better in "Adrian Pasdar promoting TV show" mode than "heartbroken Nathan Petrelli stinking of Jim Beam and crying for his lost little dorky sexbomb brother" mode... I think he may have pomaded the beard for the photo ops, which is a smart thing to do. *lapses into fantasies of stroking a soft furry pelt that smells of bay rum and bergamot*... OK, have to come out of that, I'm at work.

Mohinder/Matt? Hmmm. There's possibility there, but Sylar's not going to want to share, honey.

Claire, get a hobby that's not self-harm. I know hurting yourself feels good, but seriously, take up knitting or pole dancing or something. Cheerleading is not a life path; there's other stuff to do. Maybe field hockey! Rawr!

This is my happiness of the moment, courtesy, as usual, by buckshotwon... it's as if writing "Around the World" brought this into being, even though it's been up for more than four weeks, I hadn't seen it until today. And I just wish I could have it on a continuous loop in the corner of my eye for the rest of the day.

My tights just caught fire. I swear to God, I almost never touch any of my friends like that. I guess it's an Italian thing. All I know is that I want some, and if I can't have any, I want Adrian to have it all.
